Volunteer and Chaperone Background Check Information

At Salem Community Schools, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We welcome parents, guardians, and community members to join us in supporting student activities through volunteering and chaperoning. To ensure a safe environment for everyone, all volunteers and chaperones must complete a background check prior to participating in any school-related activities.

  • Frequency of Checks:
Background checks are valid for 3 years, after which volunteers must reapply.
