Position:  Advanced PE teacher, strength and conditioning, Varsity Football Coach

Where are you from?  Originally from Indianapolis, but reside in Jeffersonville.

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming school year?  Meeting new people and learning everything about Salem.

What are your plans for the advanced PE class?  We will work hard! Lifting 3 days per week and working on speed and agility the other two days. The class will benefit all of our athletes.  

What are the benefits of athletes taking advanced PE?

·         Develop and improve strength and explosive power

·         Develop and improve flexibility, agility and coordination

·         Develop and improve quickness and speed

·         Develop and improve muscular and cardiovascular endurance

·         Develop and improve physical and mental toughness

·         Develop and improve pride, self-discipline and the proper attitude toward work

What are you looking forward to with the football program?  Watching our players believe in our motto:  Attitude/Character/Effort

How many players do you have?  Approximately 50

Have you started practicing?   We have been lifting all summer, working on strength and speed. We have also had a few OTA (Organized Team Activities) sessions where we have installed offense and defense.

What is something you'd like the community to know about you?   I'm married to Barbara, who is also a teacher, and I have two adult step-children: Virginia and Patrick.
